Our Buddy

I promised my nephew Lake on the phone this morning that I would put pictures of Buddy up on my blog. It's been difficult 'cause the dog himself is really irritated that I am messing with the computer instead of playing with him. He keeps putting his cold nose under my arm and making sad noises. I'll write more later about Buddy when he's not around.

We love your Buddy. Looks high energy and lots of fun. Lake says "her is really cute, but not as cute as daisy".

I have received negative feedback concerning the title of this post, so I'd better clarify. The name of the dog is Buddy. I work at a nursing home where we sing a song from WWI called "My Buddy". I thought it would be a play on words to use "My Buddy" as the title of the post. Even in my tired state, I knew that folks would take exception if I called him "mine", so I put "our". But now I realize I should have named the post "Grace Musgrave's, Mark Garard's, Bev Garard's, Barb Garard's, Karyn Heath's, and Melody Geiseman's Buddy" so that no one would think I was claiming such a multi-ownered dog. :-)

And, Leah, he sometimes reminds me of Daisy.

Hey, remember my (THE MOM) rules...he who gets the house, gets the dog...anything I leave behind, you get to keep!!! You are feeding the dog, loving the dog, taking him out for "potties and doo doos", providing psych help, you are in the master BR...so by default you are the new mom. Now, Grace, don't panic....if the occupants in the house all get married and move on, or if said house is sold, the little lamb will move in with you and Kurt (won't he be excited) BTW--thanks for the pics..I do miss the little "grizzledorf"..but, he would not have survived Enid...all those JETS!!! Now, it's settled..after all..I am a Nurse and I do have "the facts" (for those of you who wonder, it's an inside joke...no need to laugh or try to figure it out.)..Bev as anon

One day my lambie will return to me and then all will be well. He loves his mommy and I love him. I just need a house.....

I think it rather unkind, not to say snobbish, when one refuses to answer a comment which was made by a reader; especially when said reader is, in some sense of the word, a friend. But that's just my opinion.

Anonymous,

I, I myself, am Albert Nonny Moose. Ms. K. knows to whom the appellation refers.

Ok. The original anonymous comment on this blog isn't really anonymous, and I responded to her over the phone already. Thanks, Bev, for the vote of confidence.

I really make no claims to have any friendship with a moose, so I don't know what that all could be about.

Ms. K,

I did not mean, by my original anonymous comment, that you should respond to whoever it was that you called. I meant that you did not respond to my comment in a previous post.

And are we now not friends?
